The difference between experiments and forms

Experiments:

  • Are made of trials presenting stimuli
  • Stimuli can be images, videos, sounds, words, and scenarios
  • A trial must end (usually with a response from the participant) before the next trial can begin.

Forms

  • Are made of typical survey questions, featuring radio buttons, checkboxes, dropdown menus, sliders, etc.
  • Multiple questions can appear on the same screen.
